Our EAP provides a system for the early identification and treatment of those employees with emotional, behavioral and substance abuse problems affecting job performance.
We offer confidential assessments, counseling and referral services to help employees and their eligible dependants successfully manage life’s problems and challenges whether they are:

Our Center provides a broad spectrum of EAP and related organizational services customized to meet the individual needs of each employer.
Basic EAP Services
• Assessment and Short Term Counseling- Initial problem identification and a limited number of face-to-face sessions to resolve identified problems.
• SAP Assessments- Evaluations of employees suspected of substance abuse in the workplace required under DOT regulations.
• Referral Services- Recommendations and linkages to a local referral base of community resources and/or inpatient and outpatient providers when more intensive treatment or adjunct services are needed.
• Supervisory consultations- Consultations with EAP specialists concerning identified managerial and supervisory issues.
• Management Trainings and Employee Orientations- Training managers to recognize, intervene and refer troubled employees to the EAP, and familiarizing employees on how to access this mental health benefit on a voluntary basis.
• Drug Free Workplace Implementation- Assistance in developing company policy in compliance with the Drug Free Workplace Act; establishing a Drug Free awareness program for employees; and providing early intervention and rehabilitation of employees with drug and alcohol problems.

Ancillary Services
Organizations often determine that certain workplace concerns are beyond the scope of supervisory consultations and management trainings. When this occurs, the Center offers both customized and standard programs to address the specific needs of the employer.
• Critical Incident Stress Debriefings- Comprehensive interventions to contain the effects of a crisis or traumatic incident that impacts the workplace.
• Focus Groups- Effective process for problem resolution of workplace interpersonal and systemic issues
• Educational and Wellness Programs- Informative presentations on a variety of organizational concerns and health related topics
Confidentiality
The Center and its’ staff are bound by and strictly adhere to the
Federal and State statutory requirements and to the Ethical Guidelines
of their respective disciplines governing confidentiality between employee/client
and the EAP clinician. The Center also complies with the Health Insurance
Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), Federal and Florida Law, 42
CFR, Part 2 and 2.22.
