At Center for Change of Florida, our EAP provides a system for the early identification and treatment of those employees with emotional, behavioral and substance abuse problems affecting job performance.
We offer confidential assessments, counseling and referral services to help employees and their eligible dependants successfully manage life's problems and challenges whether they are:
  • Emotional- Stress, Anxiety, Depression
  • Marital- Communication, Conflicts, Divorce
  • Family- Problems with Children, Aging Parents, Illness
  • Substance Abuse- Alcohol, Other Drug Use, Co-Dependency
  • Job- Conflicts with Co-workers, Job Performance

Our Center provides a broad spectrum of EAP and related organizational services customized to meet the individual needs of each employer.

Basic EAP Services

  • Assessment and Short Term Counseling - Initial problem identification and a limited number of face-to-face sessions to resolve identified problems.
  • Referral Services - Recommendations and linkages to a local referral base of community resources and/or inpatient and outpatient providers when more intensive treatment or adjunct services are needed.
  • Supervisory consultations - Consultations with EAP specialists concerning identified managerial and supervisory issues.
  • Management Trainings and Employee Orientations - Training managers to recognize, intervene and refer troubled employees to the EAP, and familiarizing employees on how to access this mental health benefit on a voluntary basis.

Confidentiality

The Center and its' staff are bound by and strictly adhere to the Federal and State statutory requirements and to the Ethical Guidelines of their respective disciplines governing confidentiality between employee/client and the EAP clinician. The Center also complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), Federal and Florida Law, 42 CFR, Part 2 and 2.22.

When to Use Us

Employee performance levels, good health and emotional well-being are essential to the ultimate success of a business in today's marketplace. EAP's are based on the belief that "human" resources are a company's most valuable asset. It is a well-known fact that many everyday life stressors can negatively impact employee attendance, concentration, productivity, overall workplace morale and an employee's ability to perform well on the job.
